Hi my name is Jonathan S. Johnston and I love knives, LOL! I live in Kennesaw, Georgia minutes from the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield. I'm 34 years old with two children Hayden and Kayla , I'm also married and have been for the last 14 Years Now with the love of my life Dawn. I study metallurgy on my own not at a school it has just taken off in my life. I'm a saved christian and baptist is my religion , hey go figure I've been in Georgia my whole life.

I got into knife making by the grace of god, back in 2001 I did really awesome in real estate and then life happen and I lost it all, including a lot of my sanity. It hit me hard and I remained a lost soul for a while and I can just remember asking god to show me what else is there and believe it or not he delivered, not at first though. Trust me, I went through a lot of problems before I found the forged blade but when I did I got addicted o metal. Now ever since high school way before any of this I have always enjoyed working with metal and welding, but I just never thought to apply my skills to knife making, and that is why I say by the grace of god i found knife making, it keeps me out of trouble and my mind in the right directions. Now several years later i do it full time, with a wife that works but one day hope to make enough that she can quit and i can make knives on a private island somewhere, or probably more like a private acre or to with a modest ranch house. Hey that would be fine with me. I have been at the top and stressed out all the time with a bunch of bills and high credit, well no thank you I will be fine with just a humble simple life.
