About Me
My name's Joe Mundo and I live in Livonia, Michigan which is about 30 min. west of Detroit. I began doing welding and blacksmithing in my teens and that led me to takes classes in metallurgy.
In 2009 I graduated from Schoolcraft College with an Associates in Metallurgy and Material Science. I graduated, in December of 2010, with my Bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University. I've worked in a metallurgy lab, since 2007, in the heat treating field.
I've forged a number of knives, but nothing too extraordinary yet. I plan on eventually making swords, but I also know the importance of working from the ground up and starting small.
