Yes it is. He's gonna need a few more candy bars (see the first photo) after working that thing!

Always a pleasure to see your work, Jean-Louis. I'm also intrigued by your press - it looks very interesting! Can you tell us more about it?

By the way I hope to see you in Gembloux next month!

Derrick, is not my press, is that Véronique.

I will not be in Gembloux, I will show to Sao-Paulo with Véronique.

After...

Before quenching...

Great wip Jean Louis, thank you. I noticed it looks like you did draw filing on the blade, good thing to know for our newer members. It is looking very good!

Love the guard Jean Louis. This is going to be a great dagger. By draw filing I mean you used a file to get the lines nice and straight by pulling it along the blade, gets it nice and flat too. Excellent work!

Thank you Dan, is my role! <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Brion, I leave a margin before tempering on the central ridge, I finished after quenching with stones.

I make exately the same dagger for my testing "MS". I really liked! <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//rolleyes.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Did you pull your hair out, or get it caught in a machine?

Love it Jean Louis. I like some of your tools too. That height gauge is simple but effective. Great looking dagger and fittings.
