Did you show in any of the videos how you lined up the pins? How do you get those so snug and consistent?

Well, I thought I was filming that as well as the guard slotting by my camera was not recording!!

So I missed them both.

I sort of have my own way that I keep to myself most of the time, but an easy way is to just drill two random holes in the back of your guard.

Put two short pins in the holes that just stick out a little bit. Slide your knife handle on the tang and press it against the pins and they will make two small dots on the face of the handle. That's where you drill your holes.

You just have to figure out to be certain your holes are drilled precisely perpendicular to the material.
