Hello,
I'm not having much luck googling what a precision z axis lift table would be called or where to find one. I want to mount a mini-mill sized x/y table onto it.
Can you help me find one?

I've never seen a Z axis that wasn't part of a machine.

To follow up, I found a few. They call them laboratory lift tables. I could mount that onto a x/y table. Unfortunately the good ones are pretty expensive. An 6x6 inch table runs about $350.
