I needed a Kiln for a Kopis build Im doing. I had posted the design earlier and finally got around to making it. So far my cost is ~$960CAD. To buy a similar Kiln and shipping would be just shy of $6k.
I have put the build on YouTube, including my mistake with the wiring. It is a lot of work, but I did save a significant amount. I now have a 40" kiln instead of my wifes pottery Kiln. The only thing I miss about her pottery kiln is the programmability of it. Her kiln allows for ramps up and down. Mine only allows for temp settings. I plan on researching how to add this feature, so if anyone has any links/info, I am all ears
Here are the build videos and a link to my design.

This project is gold. I have a paragon kiln and trust me all of the features are awesome. Especially the bluetooth app that lets me check my system. However, if I ever wanted to make a sword, and possibly a big dagger, it just isn't big enough. So I think this is an awesome idea!
