I've seen a lot of posts recently on FB and other forums about anvils, rising prices, identification, etc.
got me curious about my own anvil. It's an outstanding anvil, and I got lucky to find it at a time early in my smithing career when I knew little about them. It hits harder than other anvils far larger than it. It has a loud clear ring which I dampen with magnets under the heel.
It is marked with DLC and what appears to be a rising sun over those letters. The other side says 150, and under that is 330. I assume this is the weight. 150 kilo and 330lbs. It appears to be of solid cast steel with no obvious surface plate. Has anybody seen or know anything about this company?

There is a group on FB called Anvils. There are some serious collectors in the group that can id it for you. They will want pictures and identifying marks. They can tell you within a few years of when and where it was made. Really nice folks.
