I just a nice air compressor wired up in my shop. I was wondering if anyone else uses one and what uses do they get out of it? I am planning on using it to sandblast knives in preparation of parkerizing them. Also I can use it to quench air hardening steels.
Does anybody have any tips on blasting for surface finish of knives?
Any tools that are beneficial to the knife maker? maybe an impact wrench for twisting billets, air die grinders etc.
Thanks,
Jeff
All I can say is that my compressor gets turned on every morning right after the lights.
I couldn't live without mine.

I made a tap off of the main line for a secondary feed to an adjustable low pressure regulator that I connect a small air duster. Helps to blow away dust/shavings when working on finer details.
