Yes, I made them.
I did a production run of blanks and then forged the bits to the necessary angles and riveted them.
They are the best flat bar tong I have ever used.
Length can be indeed through the corner of the box.
Basically with one or two of these you can forge sword sized material at any spot on the blade.
