My husband, Rade Hawkins passed away in 2015 and we are selling some of his equipment. Rade joined the ABS in 1996 and became a Journeyman Smith in 2000. Some of the equipment is used and some new, acquired after he was unable to work.

Sewing Machine – American Straight Needle Stitcher – Landis Machine Co. Effective Oct. 1947. Original owner’s instruction/parts book. He used this to sew his leather sheaths for his custom knives. The machine is heavy duty and was made to sew saddles and things for horses. There is a box with all sorts of things to go with the machine.
