For Sale: Clip Grinding Attachment

I have for sale one of my clip grinding attachments. This unit is made to fit the KMG grinder. I had a couple of makers who asked me to have attachments made for them. I had to have four units built to get a good price from the machine shop. I've still got one left to sell.

I designed this attachment to be used for grinding the clips on bowie knives. But, I have used it for a variety of other knifemaking purposes; including grinding the facets on dog bone handles. This attachment fits over your KMG flat platen and is adjustable for angle. The work surface plate on this attachment is 4 inches tall by 20 inches wide.

The new unit will need to be fitted to your machine by installing it in front of your flat platen and marking it to saw and grind a section out to fit around the flat platen. You can see this cut-out in the photo of my old attachment (with the blue painter's tape on it). I will send full instructions of how to do this with the unit.
