The second is an Old Style hammer with lots of new parts. For $3600usd.

The third is a Perfect. In need of tender loving care. For $900usd.

Dave, there's no indication where you are, unless "diller" is a town and I just don't know where that is. Can you clue me in??? Thanks

Sorry Nebraska.

The new style is completely rebuilt. The only original parts are the frame and clutch. Everything else is brand new.

I've worked with Sid Suedmeier at LG for the last ten years. If the part did not fit right or work properly. We replaced it with new.

If you look at the cost of these parts on the LG website you'll see. You could actually have the purchase price wrapped up in new parts.

Small rebuild W.I.P. :When looking at a used hammer these are the basic things to replace. The spring. (most are original and 50 yrs old). The spring needs to be replaced if the owner can not come up with a purchase time. The dies. (top and bottom). Most dies if the hammer ran well and were used constantly would be short. (worn over 75 percent). The die keys (to make sure they fit tight)

Now add a new motor and mount. (speed and hp are important).

Now on to politics Diller is not a town in Nebraska it's a Village. Under 300 folks. Made up by the state. hee hee hee.

Thanks

Dave

Dave,

I don't see your photos in this thread. You need some help posting them?
