Yes, Welcome! That is an impressive first post. Please share more details of the knife. Did you do the engraving? What are the materials used?

The way you fit the butt to the handle is very nice. I would enjoy seeing a close up picture of that as well.

Again, Welcome and thanks for sharing.

Yes, there is a small engraving with acid.

the handle is walnut stabilized, silk is traversing. The pommel and the guard is made of iron.

Welcome Jean Louis, and what a way to introduce yourself. Very nice work. I love the wootz. On the pommel and guard, is that wrought iron? Beautiful knife, thank you for posting it.

Welcome again

The pommel and guard have been cold worked and tanned with "gun blue"

Brion Tomberlin: Me too I really like the wootz,

This is a small folding wootz steel with 1.3c and 15% chr. The plates and bolsters are made of titanium plate and mammoth.

Jean-Louis:

I really like the subtle pattern of Wootz, do you make your own? Great job on the knives, too-I really like them, thanks for sharing.

Loved the guard on the bowie and the jigsaw puzzle work on the folder. Excellent!
