It's either this one:

Or this one. This one was nominated for best Bowie of 2016:

This one I hated to see go. It just suited my taste:

There were a few others that I really like too.

Men by sharing these pictures of your Best Work of 2016 you give all of us the inspiration we need to keep trying to perfect our own work. I sometimes wonder if I will ever produce work such as yours, your knives gives me hope and confidence and of coarse, admiration for all.

Thank you.

Dean

Dean please share what you have made as well. That's the idea here the best work from everyone what ever level.

I like to look back each year and see what I have done. To see what I have learned but also to see where I want to improve.

Show us what you have done be proud of what you have accomplished, you can still do that even when being honest with yourself about what you need to improve. That is a skill I find as useful as being able to take critique well. So please post something.

I understand Matt and I agree everyone has to begin somewhere. Here is a Bowie I made and donated to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society Golf Tournament held in Bedford Virginia this year. It brought $750, but please understand there were a lot of golfers feeling there beer bidding on it.

First knife I ever forged the beginning of this year. However I have been making knives via stock removal for 8 years now.

Well, its hard to compete with most of these, but I'll go:

Firstly- Matt said work, not knives, and I'm pretty proud of the shop I spent the first part of the year working on:

but as for knives, my favorites are these:

and this one-

not that these ones match up much with most of these! But you did ask, & I thought I should represent the apprentices.

I think that this dagger & sheath would probably be my best work this year:

One of only two I completed last year, but I think it is my best. Great thread!

Here's my best one of 2016. It still isn't sold but it turned out very well.

The photo is a cell phone upload so if the size is too large I don't have any way to edit it. Feel free to take it down if it's too big.
