Hello,
This is one I had just finished, Its a single bar twist (1084/15N20) of 55 layers would have liked to get some more in but, that's about all my arm could stand currently <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//biggrin.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> . The handle is a stabilized curly maple that I thought the pattern complimented the Damascus pattern well. I added a brass liner in the guard for something a little extra. I have only been making blades for about 9 months now but feel like I am starting to make some progress. Please feel free to provide any areas where I could improve on the next one.
Thanks Josh
That looks real good. Keep it up
Really nice twist!

That is pretty Jazzy. The twist came out really well and that wood is wild! What are the specs and how are you doing the sculpted handle? (it looks a lot like Ben Breda's work)

Nice!

The Blade is 5 1/2" and from the underside of the guard the handle is 4 1/2".
The handle... A lot of work with files, lol. I got a lot of my inspiration from Nick Wheeler on the handle design he has some great Youtube videos on handle sculpting
Nicely done!
Love the wood with that twist! Great knife.
