I can hear it now.... "How dare you mix a forged mosaic/410 laminate blade with Titanium!"
Sometimes you just gotta step out of the "norm"...... or maybe this is what happens when you switch to decaf?
Anyway, I got "creative" with anodizing today..... figure either folks will love....or hate it..... but they're going to Atlanta with me next week!

Steve: How you doin? I've been in your shoes and it's not fun. They still have me on enzymes since my pancreas function went down after my bout with it. Heal up Pal! Wanna see you bright eyed and busy tailed in Hotlanta!

I'm feeling good!! Thanks for asking Ed.
Seems that I stumped all the doctors. They can't figure out how I recovered so quickly. When they admitted me, my pancreas enzyme levels were 20 times more than the highest normal amount. By Monday morning I was feeling fine, though it's supposed to take three to four days. They had not allowed me to eat or drink anything since I had been admitted. I told the nurse that I was hungry and asked if I could have a cheeseburger. She told me yes (maybe was joking), so I asked Mary to bring me a 1/4 pounder, fries and iced tea from McDs. About an hour after I ate all of that, the Doc came in. He asked me if I had tried to eat anything, so I told him about what I had ate. He said that I was the only person in the country who had been admitted with pancreatitis last night and ate a 1/4 pound cheeseburger for lunch the next day.
Great News Steve! Glad you're better!

Steve
Sally and I are glad to hear that you are feeling better and are back at home.

I like the knives. I think that it is a good idea for us to step out of our comfort zones from time to time and try new techniques and designs.

I like them Ed. But even if I didn't I applaud your creativity as well as your willingness to share it. It's things like this that we need, not only as a craft but, especially as an organization. I'm speaking of the ABS.
While we have some of the best craftspersons in the world in our organization, many are timid in their creativity. When I open the forum, this is exactly is what I hope to see.
I applaud your creativity as well as your willingness to share it
EXACTLY!! I love to see makers step out and challenge convention!
Well done Ed. That is some beautiful steel.
Steve, I am happy to hear you are feeling better.
