Just finished this one up in a frontier Bowie style. The damascus includes a vintage Newhouse trap spring, canned and clad over a random core. The guard is from the same billet. The jaws are coyote, and the wood is 1912 bodark. The copper trap tag is from 1941. I wanted the shape to at least echo the Green River style of the period. Since I already had coyote parts involved, I used a coyote face on the sheath as well.
That's all kinds of cool.
I dig it !!
Nice work neighbor!
