I forged this from a 3/16" x 1-1/2" x 6-1/2" bar of O1. Faces were freehand ground on an 8" wheel and polished to #3000 on a Norax belt, then a light buff. Edges finished on an #8000 water-stone. Lots of "firsts" for me in this razor: my first forging that was worth finishing, my first hollow grind, my first razor, my first acid etch (my actual handwriting, as I have no stencils yet) and shortly after finishing, my first straight razor shave.

The faces aren't totally even, and I forged a small fold into the tang. The fold didn't cause any cracking, but it sure looks like crap.
