300 layer ladder pattern damascus chefs knife. 7" blade with a bottle opener on the spine. Maple burl and epoxy handle with mosaic pin. This was a custom order for a customers friend battling cancer. The friends name (blurred for privacy) was etched into the right side of the blade and will become a family heirloom.  This was an order that messed with my head a bit.  The customers friend is expected to pass within the next 6 months.  He loves to cook and loves his beer, thus the order was for a knife with an integrated bottle opener, with his name etched into it so that it could be passed down to his daughter.  I am pleased to say he was very happy with the knife.
