Thanks Brion. We will see how he likes it. The customer is the recipient's wife. He has really big hands.

Next time around, I think I'll make that vine work thinner.

I just realized I didn't post the specs.

Blade is 3.25" by .875" OAL is just under 7.5"

Damascus is 24 layer 1084 & 15N20

Fittings and frame are nickel-silver and black vulcanized paper.

Handle is stabilized black ash burl

Most of the hunters that ask me for knives want something around 3-4 inch long blades. There are a few that look for the 6 inch blade, but they are using it for more things than cleaning game.

Beautiful!! I don't usually like low layer count Damascus but you executed it perfect to my eyes on this knife!
