San-mai laminated blade of 1095 and 1880s wrought iron, with "vine" file work on the spine. Composite handle of Osage Orange and Spalted maple, treated with a traditional chemical stain. Hand sewn vegetable tanned leather sheath, in my reverse Scandinavian pattern, dyed with ferric acid water (another traditional chemical stain) to a dark subtle brown. What do you think? Criticism welcome

Nicely done John,

I really like your style. Good looking working knives.

Very nice John!

I like the handle shape. Overall, a great knife and sheath package.
