Here is a bowie I recently finished. The damascus is the first I made on my Coal Iron press.

The blade is 360 layers of 1084 and 15N20 in a raindrop pattern. The s-guard is 99 layers in a raindrop pattern. Both were etched in ferric then given an instant coffee etch. The filed spacers are made from quilted maple that I had K&G dye black and stabilize. The handle is desert ironwood burl pinned with a black micarta pin.
