Hello everyone! This is my first post after my introduction comment.
I´m glad to show you this piece, my last finished work. It´s a fighter knife, the blade was forged from c105 steel, and clay hardened to get a hamon. Then hand sanded to 2000 grit.
The guard an collar were made from a 100 layer nickel/steel damascus, with inox spacer and pin. The wood is a beautiful ancient walnut from Biniés (Spain). Its total lenght is 46 cm (about 18 inches). Im happy with lines and balance, but feel free to critique, it´s the real learning way.
Thank you all for seeing.
Regards from Huesca (Spain).
Pablo.

Thanks, Brion! Your work is very inspiring for me
Very nicely developed hamon and well placed. This shows control and planning. When the hamon is where it should be you can see and know that the areas you want harder or softer are where they should be. Well done.

Thanks, Chris! I'm happy with the result on this one
