Greetings all.

I have been at this a few months now and thought I would show some of my results.

I took the ABS course at NESM last spring with MS Jim Crowell and learned a great deal.

First up is the clip point from the class, 1084 with a mild steel guard and African Mahogany handle.

And a kitchen knife finished just recently, 1084 with Ash scales.

Wow!

Very nice work Rogers. I really like the mirror finish on the kitchen knife.

Thaddeus,

Very nice work. You're doing well. If I may be so bold as to offer a suggestion, I would like to see a handle pin in the clip point handle extending through both the mahogany and the blade tang (which can still be done). Small point but something that will enhance the knife. Very nice work though. You should be proud.
