Here is a Gunslinger I just finished up.

I have made quite a few of these, the customer wanted the long spine with the filework all the way. I wasn't crazy about it, but its all about the customer.

OAL 9.5"

Blade 5"

388 Layer Damascus from Alabama Damascus

The guard I forged from a Bolt the customer gave me, then I cold blued it. He owns a shortline RR in Oregon and said the bolt came from a RR Bridge built in 1933.

He also gave me the date nails for the handles.

The scales are Spalted Maple.

I made the sheath too.

Thanks for looking.

Really nice!!! I like the ring on the guard, gives it a very western old style look and feel.

I realy like this knife. I like seeing something different and unique. Good Job. Something to aspire to.
