Those are beautiful blades! I have a question about the copper pins. I have some copper pinstock in various sizes and love the color but I am worried about them turning green over time. Is that a legit worry? Do you cover them in the same finish as the scales or do something else to prevent this? Thanks

Thank you sir. Well it goes with anything with knives, if you neglect them then they will inevitably oxidize. Turning green is a pretty extreme amount of oxidation and i'd suspect that the blade would probably be rusted along with it! However, the pins do change color pretty quickly with normal use. Not anything drastic, they really just loose a bit of sheen, much like a polished brass or bronze pin may get dull as you handle it with your grubby hands hahaha. <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//biggrin.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

hope that helps!
