This is my first attempt at creating a "Shiny, pointed knife-like thing" with a sheath.  Any advice on getting better lines, design and better fit with the guard?

Thank you for the comments and the links Michael.

I have watched a lot of Kyle Royer's videos before I started, along with a lot of Jason Knight and John Norwood at Old Hickory Forge.

I think the most helpful videos I found for just seeing the basics and understanding what to do were made by John Ellis at Dunstan Forge.  They are some of his older videos posted about 10 years ago when he was just a teenager.

Thank you again for the comments Michael

Make sure you keep this and use it.  There is something about your first blade.  Mine is still in the shop and used.  Remember to let yourself fail.  You only learn by extending into the impossible.  My favourite quote is:

“The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible" -- Arthur C. Clarke

The only problem is that every time I find the limits, my experience changes them.
