Hi Guys

This folder was made for a gents recent birthday. The handle is Sambar stag which I dyed with mahogany leather dye, then cleaned back and sealed with Danish oil. The blade was forged from EN43, it's 100mm long and approx 3mm thick at the spine on the ricasso, open length is 235mm. The back spring is forged from a leaf spring and has file work along it's outside edges. The customer wanted a gun blued end cap for this folder so I placed brass washers under the rivets as a contrast against all of the steel.

The steel saddle has planished sides,is finished a plum brown and topped off with a brass rose. The finger ring has been twisted this time for a more textured look.

Thank you for taking the time to look. All comments and questions very welcome.

All the best

Steve
