I had this knife at the ICCE show and although it's not perfect, I was pleased enough with the results to have Eric Eggly shoot some pics of it. Here are the stats:

Damascus Dagger

10.75 inch blade, 16 inches OAL 1095 and 15N20 Damascus

Mammoth Ivory handle scales. Guard and frame main body are 416 SS. Liners are silicon bronze. Seppa is silicon bronze. Spacer package is 50/50 Shibuichi (50% copper and 50% fine silver)with red bronze center spacer and silicon bronze thin separators. The ball finial and washer are 50/50 Shibuichi

All the Mokume, red bronze, and Shibuichi is made in my shop by me.

This is a full take-down model. The blade is made from 9 twisted bars. (5 RH, 4 LH)

Thanks guys. I appreciate the compliments.

Lin: Wow, you were up early....

Ronald: You can call me Josh or Joshua. (Mr. States was my father and he passed away in 1997) I appreciate the formality and all, but I'm really a much more casual kind of guy. Besides, "Mr. States" makes me remember how old I am.

I got some great feedback on this knife (and the others) from several good smiths (Ed Caffrey was kind enough to tolerate me handing it to him at his table and standing there expectantly, thanks again Ed)and from a fellow named Barry Lee Hands. I cannot commit to it at this point, but I will be there again next year if at all possible. Is there anyway we can schedule it before archery deer season?

Joshua, that's one beautiful dagger, great workmanship and attention to detail. That ticks the boxes for me.
