I'll be having this one on my table at the Art of Steel Show.
Very nice Lin. I really like this one.
Chris
Lin that knife is beautiful as usual.
Gilbert
Lin that knife is (dare I say it?) masterful.
What are the specs? It looks like a subtle mix of metals in the fittings.

love the subtle hamon. great knife Lin!
Thanks guys.
Joshua, the fittings are stainless. What you see is the difference in textures. I learned the importance of this from Jerry Lairson MS.
I bet it won't stay on your table for long. Someone is going to want to take that one home

That was my first thought. I hate second guessing myself and winding up mistaken...... <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//angry.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Lin, what a great knife, the stag is beautiful, could you share your source?
Thanks gentlemen.
Dean, I probably got it from Jerry Kocheiser (sp) at one of the shows. He usually has a table where I attend. I had Culpepper dye it.
I really like the way your work has been evolving. Fantastic knife.
Thank you Justin. <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
Joshua, I see where I failed to answer your question. This blade is about 13 inches. X 2-1/8 wide. It's a handful. The steel is my laddered W pattern.
I really like stag handled Bowies and the stag on this one is beautiful. The subtle hamon just adds another dimension to an already exceptional knife.
