Seems I can never plan a knife out from start to finish....and follow the plan. I WAS going to leave the handle plain on this one....then, the morning after I'd considered it "done", I walked into the shop at 5am, and looked at it....and decided I needed to "pimp out" the handle. So after a full day's worth of carving, sanding, polishing, and texturing.....now its done.

Blade is Mosaic with 410SS laminate, Fluted Nickel Silver guard with Nickel Silver spacers, and Desert Ironwood for the handle. Now my least favorite part.....building the sheath. Sometimes I hate it when something comes out this well, and I know I've gotta build a sheath that's nice enough to put it in.

That turned out really nice Ed. Love the handle work, and of course the rest. You pimped it good. LOL.

Beautiful knife Mr. Caffery. I really like the handle, and look forward to seeing the sheath to match.

Really nice pimping Ed!

Did you make a video of the carving process for your "How I do it" series?

Hi Dean! Yep! It'll be up for sale as soon as I complete the sheath.....likely sometime next week. It seems I've been inspired lately, and have several hunters completed, but that dreaded word "leatherwork" needs to be completed before I can post them for sale. I should have 4-5 new knives on my site next week.

Maybe if I'm lucky I can talk the wife into getting me an early Christmas present! I'll be watching.
