Hello Folks. I Haven't taken the time to get on the forum since I got back from Troy, OH. I sure learned a lot and met some great people.

I wanted to share a couple pictures of some of the last projects ive done. I've been burning any free time I get at the anvil and grinder.Included in these projects was my first dagger/short sword and my first Bowie, both thru tangs. Thru tangs are definitely uncharted water for me, I have much to learn.

This weekend I'm playing with my very first forge welded billet. an extremely low count Damascus ladder pattern, 11 layers. Wanted to do something different and test the forge that Karl helped me design. High five Karl,Thanks for sharing the info!!

You can see all of the dagger shaped objects I am grinding for practice in the background of the last picture. Like I titled the post, I'm having fun!!

Again, it was nice meeting all of you that I was able to. Thank you for being so welcoming to a new guppy in the pond.
