Forged from 1/2 W1 drill rod, curly maple handles with silver inlay. stand is red oak and curly maple.

please let me know what you all think of them.

Very nice, I like those a lot. They remind me of a picture I saw sometime back of a "gentleman's knife" by Don Fogg.

Could you share some about how you did the bolsters? Forged, Carved, Turned?

Thank you Dan and Brian, I like the lines on that one the best my self.

Justin -Wow I wasn't expecting to be compared to Don Fogg, high praise thank you... I rough turned the bolsters on my lathe first and then forged the blades, from there it was all done with files, if I do this again I don't think I will turn them as I ended up filing everything to the point that I am not sure it saved me any time and it did make the forging quite a bit more difficult.

I went and visited Jim Cooper of sharp by coop last week and this is what he did for me on these. great guy and great photographer!
