Playing with fullered/rolled edges on the handle, idea came from what seems to be common right now in forged sculptures. Happier with the results on the handle on the top one, which was the second I made. Planning a few more like this, possibly cleaning out the handle with a die grinder, and then try a few with proper handles (one of the reasons I joined ABS - to push myself to finally make handles). Blades are both about 4" for scale, top is 1080/15N20 w/ a 1080 core and bottomw 1080/15N20 with a 1095 core.

These knives are really interesting to me, David. I really like the blade shape and damascus on the first, though I think I see what you mean about the handle shaping of the "top one". The damascus of the bottom one looks similar to jump welding. Would you say how it was done and how the "S" curve came into it, please?

As a person insists they have a right to deny others their individual freedoms, they acknowledge those others have the right to deny them theirs...

Good work.
