This one is a hand forged hunting knife. The blade is forged from 1095 steel. I did a differential quench in warm canola oil to bring out a hamon line. Hand sanded to 400 grit before etching. The cutting edge of the blade is 5 1/4 inches long. The handle is made from Desert Ironwood and has been treated with Tru Oil for a high gloss shine. The handle is 5 inches in length. The overall length of the knife is 11 1/4 inches. The guard and pin are both mild steel. I used Perma Blu on the pin to dull the finish so it matches the blade and guard.

Congratulations Brandon, yours is the very first post on the new ABS forum, thank you for giving it a test run!  The blade is nice, the hamon has a classic double line from the separated phases during the quench.
