Well, I finally finished one of the blades I forged in the Intro Class at Washington, Ar last month. The blade is 4 1/8" 5160 with Walnut handle and brass fittings. Overall length is 8 1/2". I finished the knife, handle and guard with my new KMG Waiting on my etching equiptment so I can mark it. Thanks in advance for any comments and suggestions!
Bob
Great job that class must have been awesome. I like your background for the photograph shows the knife of really nicely.
ET,
Thanks for the kind comments!
The school was awesome! The instructors Jim Crowell and Tim Poitier had us going at it the first day. Out of the nine students in the class, I think only two or three were experienced. The rest of us were just getting started. When people tell you it cuts the learning curve, believe them. I'm looking at the Handles and Guards school for next spring. These classes are well worth the investment in time and money. The only problem with attending the school is everything you start acquiring once you get home! But, can we ever have enough tools?

Bob
Hey Bob,
I hear what your saying as I have already started collecting some tools and I haven't even built the first knife yet ...
It is plain to see the classes are very helpful from your Knife. I am definitely going to look into some of those as I am a beginner as well.
I think the big thing is the fun factor and I hear that in reply so I am looking forward to this Journey.
