This is a fun little integral paring knife knife I finished up last night. The blade and bolster were forged from 1200-layer random pattern damascus of 1095/15n20 in equal quantities and I clayed the spine to get a differential hardening line. The handle is stabilized Honduran rosewood burl. 3.75" blade, 7.75" OAL.
This was my first integral and my first completed damascus knife and I'm immensely pleased with how it turned out. I welcome any feedback!
Thanks all!
That looks handy!

Thank you! I had the immense good fortune to have a chef in the shop the other night and she gave me some great feedback on it. This knife is now living in my kitchen and will hopefully be slicing up apples for years to come.
That looks really good. Keep it up
That pretty much checks all the boxes. The only thing I can comment on is not necessarily an improvement, but an aesthetic choice. You might have done a longer etch to bring out more of the patterning. Nice clean work Zack.
