I figure sence I'm new to the forum it's only appropriate to post a few pictures of my latest creation.

This started out as a fun project and quickly turned into a customers order once the build pictures got out. I had alot more fun making this then I most likely should have, lots of swing it around the shop was involved. The Damascus started out as a normal stack of 15n20 and 1075 which I welded and twisted. I then forged it flat and ground in a ladder pattern for kicks. Both the guard and pommel are wrought iron with a fairly heavy etch to bring out an aged look. The guard was left in its forged condition but the pommel had to be shaped to the elk antler and split into 4 sections befor curling them over. The grip is water buffalo with a copper spacer between it and the elk antler. Thank you for looking
