Very nice Finn and welcome to the Forum. How about telling us a little about your knife, steel used, handle material, etc?

The blade is made of 1084 steel. The S-guard is stainless steel and the spacer is bronze. The handle material is ipe from Ecuador that my dad and I got when my family lived there.
Thanks for replying.

(My dad just said that I should add that I just turned 13.)
That's a very attractive knife. I really like it.
If I had to give you any critique at all, I might bring the bottom of the handle up a little where the middle finger would be. Then flow from there back to the pommel. But that's it. I say this with caution because I don't in any way want to discourage you. You are doing so well that I think you will appreciate that bit of advice and put it to good use.
Great work.

Great work.
Thanks for the advice.
I will definitely take your suggestion into consideration. Also thanks for taking the time to look at my work, I really appreciate it.
Thanks for your feedback.

Nice work Finn. I like the blade and the guard. I am with Lin on the handle, not as deep on the finger groove. I also might curve the handle down so you have more of an S curve. Flows better. Just some thoughts. You are doing good, just maybe some tweaks.

Great looking knife-better than my first on my own.....and I was a lot older than you at the time <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />. You've gotten great advice from REALLY good makers. Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing the next knives you complete.
