Well, I'll try to upload a photo, let's see if it works...
This is one of the first knives forged after the "introduction class" at the forge in Ostiches.
Thanks again ABS and the instructors!

As you can see now, it's an old file, forged in taper to the tip and the end of the handle. Red oak.
At first glance I thought "is the tip broken off?", but I finally realized the knife is sticking into a piece of wood. I thought we were looking down on the knife lying on a table.....
Nice looking carver. How about some specs? Dimensions?

Joshua, making photos is at the same level as uploading them <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//wink.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
The knife was made after meeting Mr. Keeslar at the Ostiches hammer in where he showed one of his beauties, the special thing was the file pattern on the 3D ricasso curves. On this knife, some teeth are still visible as a Spanish notch.
Length: blade 9.6"
handle 4.5" (too short)
height: 1.2"
width at ricasso: 0.275"
balance point about 1" from ricasso
I like that knife, Christophe. The Keeslar influence is plain to see, and what a good influence it is!
Very nice Christophe. Bet that is a cutter. Good job.
