Boot Knife

Here is a little boot knife I finished up last night. It's 1084 with a micarta handle and guard, and vulcanized fiber and g10 spacers.

NICE!! I like that dagger Jim. That antiqued finish and those spacers sure do tie that thing together. For me it makes me look deeper into the texture of the grip and the the bevel in the hole for the thong. Wonderful to have all of those subtle details like that pop out as you look at it.

Would you show us a picture of how you finished the buttcap?

Hey Thomas - thanks! There is no buttcap at all though - it's just the same buffed finish on the micarta as the sides.

Thanks Dean - I didn't want it to be shiny for sure - I am pretty pleased with how it turned out also.
