Sorry about the pictures. I think I have got it now. I'm looking for coments good or bad regarding my work. Here are three knives I made over the last year

This bowie is made from 52100 and heat treated the Ed Fowler way (or as colse as I could get) with cherry handle slabs. I have too sharp a corner on the plunge lines I hope not to make that mistake again.

I made this pair with utility in mind. What is the general feel about cord wraped handles? I know they are no good for JS knives but in general are they thought of as too cheep? The steel used is 5160 edge quenched.

This one is 5160 edge quenched as well with "jean carta" I was pleased with the overall feel and look of the knife however I should have thinned the edge out more

What do you think and where do I need to improve?

Hello Bradley. Yes the photos are too big. Steve has a really good tutorial in the forum news section on editing photos.

I like the design of your knives, not bad looking. On the 52100 it looks like the guard needs to be faired in to the handle more and this is just my personal opinion it would look better to me with an actual clip or swedge. Like I said not a problem just my personal opinion. It may have a small clip, I can't tell from the picture. I have always liked the coffin style handle. Good job.

As for cord wrap, again not my personal favorite but they have a place. And you are right not for JS submission. I know it takes a while to wrap a handle like that. Not cheap looking just different.

Looking good so far, I would like to see them in person sometime.
