I just finished up a couple knives. The first is a boot knife. The blade is 1095, fittings and frame are 416 SS, with the exception of the two fat spacers, which are 1095. The scales are Madagascar ebony I got from a retired piano key maker. He had a couple pieces left over in his collection of wood bits. Six flush pins, with two domed pins locking everything together.

The file work on the frame goes all the way around the handle.

The next one is what I call a "field knife" or a "hiker". It's a general purpose sheath knife. The blade is some W2 that MS Ray Rybar made. I purchased a 22 lb. ingot from him back in 2016 at the ABANA conference. Fittings are nickel-silver and bronze, Handle is ironwood. This is take down construction.

Some crazy activity in the Hamon on this blade.

Thanks Chad!

I hope you don't mind a poor cell phone pic on the shop work bench.

3-part spacer, threaded tang, finial with bronze washer.
