This hunter is forged from 5160. The blade is 5 inches long and the knife is 9 3/4 inches long overall. The guard is made from 3/8x3/4 416 stainless and it has a 1/8 inch thick reconstituted malachite stone spacer behind it. The handle is curly Hawaiian koa that I bought from a small mill in Honolulu and had stabilized by K&G. The handle is accented by a single 1/16 nickel-silver domed pin. I will appreciate all comments and critiques.

Thanks,

Tony

Very nice, Tony! I like the shape of the guard and the way you did the spacer...that spacer is a compliment or accent and doesn't detract from the overall package. Well done!

It looks good. The only critique I can offer would be to eliminate the "sharp edges" that I see on the handle/guard. Basically just "break" anwhere you see a sharp "line". That could be just a personal preference thing, but I always think a knife is more pleasing to the eye, and feels better in the hand when everything "flows" together.
