Just finished a 1080 steel knife, with burnt oak handle. Blued the blade about 5 times, sharpened it, then blued again to add a false hamon.
Also a cable damascus knife with a red dyed oak handle. Small billet so was not able to get the handle as thick as i would prefer, but it works well as a kitchen style knife.
Any criticisms will be met with positivity!
