Here is another recent project of mine. This is for a Seax I made based on the Nijemgen Seax found in the Netherlands and dated to the 6th Century. It's a big blade, so the sheath has room for tooling and design work.

This style of sheath was typical of the Gotland seax from the Vendel period through the Viking age. It has no stitching. It is held together with metal plates and small rivets.
