Master Smith Lin Rhea contacted me today and wants you to know about an opportunity to obtain a rare book on Bowie knives titled "Bowie Knives and Bayonets of the Ben Palmer Collection" by Ben Palmer, Bill Moran, and Jim Phillips. I have a copy of this book and it is worth obtaining it while they are still available.

"We have a limited supply of these full size books at the Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock. They are full of black and white photographs of knives in the Palmer collection. The first few are signed by Jim Phillips ABS board member who published this book. It is a nice reference book for antique Bowies to compliment your Flayderman book. I was thinking since we'll be in Little Rock it would be a great opportunity to speak for one. Just let me know or contact the Historic Arkansas Museum with your name and pertinent information. They are $50 to be paid to the museum store when you pick up your book."
