[Solved] My first billet

This was my very first attempt at forging Damascus. I used 1084 and 15n20. It’s only 22 layers but I think it was a success for the most part.

From this point I just kept heating and smashing until it was about 1/16 thick.

This was primarily a test of the equipment I built as well as determining whether or not I could actually forge weld a billet.
