Question on maidens hair pattern that I didn't get enough twists per/in. Is there a way to cut, stack, weld and twist again or chalk it up to experience? Jerry

I feel your pain Jerry. I've got a few knives that didn't end up how I had planned and kept them for myself( kind of like mechanics that driving a wreck). I always found that chasing something usually ends up less than satisfactory and took three times longer than starting over would have.

It's a case of "cant get there from here" after a certain point. But you can re stack and re twist and see what you get. It may be great even though a different exact pattern than you wanted.

It's good to write down you steps in the case that you want to repeat it or in the case you DO NOT want to repeat it. This will give you a reference for adjustment. I think of it as a recipe.

Thank you, My thought's I would cut in half and make 2 knifes. Once I hammer in the bevels, might change the pattern to something I like.
