well this is the first piece i made out of both Damascus and i pattered it using the rose/rain drop pattern. I know there are a couple flaws in the blade bot for my first piece of proper Damascus i think i did well.

ya my pitures are not that great but you cans see some of the pattern.
It is all just an on-going learning process where all we can hope to do is improve.
With just what you've shown here, you can pull off what the vast majority of people can not.
I can see that pattern and it looks as though you have succeeded.
Remember what you did that worked and what didn't. Congratulations.
